Great location and great communication by the host!

The red door is the kind of detail you remember. It marks the entrance to a downtown residence that feels less like a rental and more like a friend's impeccably kept city apartment, one where every room has been considered and every comfort accounted for. Red Door sits in the center of downtown Greenville, placing you within walking distance of the restaurants, galleries, and tree-lined streets that have made this city one of the South's most compelling small-town destinations. Step inside and the energy shifts from bustling sidewalks to something quieter and more personal.
The layout is generous for a downtown address. Three king bedrooms anchor the space, each designed for genuine rest rather than decorative effect. The living areas are open and uncluttered, with enough room for a group to gather without crowding and enough separation for those who want a moment to themselves. A full kitchen invites the kind of slow morning that vacation promises but rarely delivers: coffee brewed on your own terms, breakfast assembled without a reservation. The overall sensibility is clean, modern, and warm, a space that respects its urban setting without sacrificing comfort.
Greenville's Main Street is one of the most walkable stretches in the Southeast, and Red Door places you at the heart of it. Falls Park on the Reedy and the iconic Liberty Bridge are close enough for a morning stroll. The restaurants and bars that line the downtown corridor become your neighborhood spots rather than destinations requiring a drive. Whether you are here for a weekend gathering, a work trip that deserves better accommodations, or a few days of unhurried exploration, the proximity to everything that matters is the property's most defining feature.
What lingers about Red Door is its straightforwardness. There is no pretense here, no unnecessary flourish. It is a well-located, well-appointed residence that lets downtown Greenville do the talking while giving you a comfortable place to return to at the end of each day. The red door closes behind you, and the city is yours on both sides of it.

There's something disarming about a place that announces itself with a red door — it's a quiet declaration that what's inside has been considered. The soaring ceilings and generous light give the space a loft-like openness that feels more like a well-designed home than a rental, and the warm palette keeps it from tipping into cold minimalism. It's the kind of apartment where you settle in rather than check in, where the gas fireplace and a glass of wine on a weeknight feel entirely earned. Greenville's walkable energy — Falls Park, the cafes, the arts — sits right outside, but the 2,400 square feet behind that door make a compelling case for staying put. Southern hospitality here isn't performative; it's baked into the generosity of the space itself.

Thank you Landon for being a great host! We loved the location! Couldn’t have been better! We were literally 100 feet to Main Street where all the action is! We parked our cars and didn’t have to use them again till we left. <br/>Nice, bedrooms all with King beds was a plus! We used the comfy kitchen for breakfasts for our group and played cards at night. Landon was quick to respond to all our questions. We hope to come and stay again sometime!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider doing it again. The apartment was beautiful and spacious with well-selected furnishings, which helped to offset the noise that comes with a city center location.

The major strength of this property is the location. The entire downtown city of Greenville is within walking distance. The home is spacious and each bedroom has plenty of space with king beds. The beds linens were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is a great size and the open floor plan with exposed brick makes the space inviting and user friendly. While the location of the rental is amazing, you will have the noise and traffic that is typical of a place like this. They have placed noise machines in every room which is helpful. Landon was super communicative and helpful. Directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow.

We loved the accommodations. The apartment was easy to locate, parking was on the block, we were able to walk everywhere in the area and found shopping, fine food and cocktail venues to be prolific and enjoyable. The apartment itself was clean, nicely furnished and as described (thanks for the tip on the main suite hot water tap!). I am not used to city living, so the noise level was more than expected, although it had been mentioned, and the white noise machine worked great. We used the recommended paddle boarding tour in Pisgah Forest and loved it - worth the drive. Greenville is lovely and I look forward to my next visit.
