Loved this place! I enjoyed every moment in our Airbnb! Beautifulllll house! Thank you!<3

There is a particular kind of stillness that comes with good design. Not emptiness, but clarity. The Scandinavian Designer Gem announces itself quietly, through material and proportion rather than ornament. From the moment you step inside, the architecture reads as intentional: clean lines, natural textures, and a palette that feels both minimal and warm. This is a residence designed with the eye of someone who understands that luxury lives in restraint, in the weight of a well-chosen textile, in the way light moves across a room.
The interiors carry a distinctly Scandinavian sensibility throughout. Expect thoughtful furnishings, muted tones, and an open layout that invites slow mornings and unhurried evenings. The living spaces feel curated without being precious, the kind of home where you settle in rather than tiptoe through. Details matter here: the hardware, the lighting, the way each room connects to the next with a sense of flow and purpose. It is a designer's home offered as a guest experience, and the difference is palpable.
Outdoors, the property extends the experience with features that anchor your days and evenings. A hot tub offers a place to unwind after long hours of exploration or simply after a quiet afternoon spent doing very little. A fire pit creates a natural gathering point as the sky darkens, the kind of space where conversations stretch longer than intended and the night air feels like part of the design. For those arriving by electric vehicle, dedicated EV charging is available on site, a practical detail that speaks to the home's modern sensibility.
What stays with you about the Scandinavian Designer Gem is the feeling of coherence. Every element, from the architecture to the outdoor spaces, feels like it belongs to the same vision. This is not a property assembled from a checklist of amenities. It is a residence where design thinking extends to every corner, where the hot tub and fire pit feel as considered as the interior furnishings, and where the rhythm of your stay naturally slows to match the intention behind the space. You leave not just rested, but recalibrated.

What gets you here is the Scandinavian design sensibility — clean, deliberate, unhurried — transplanted into a Big Bear Lake cabin setting where it has no business working this well, and yet it does. The open floor plan feels less like a layout choice and more like a philosophy: everything flows, nothing competes, and those expansive windows don't just let light in — they collapse the boundary between indoors and forest. It's a place that rewards stillness as much as activity, where the fire pit and hot tub aren't afterthoughts but extensions of a carefully considered outdoor life. The kind of mountain retreat that appeals to people who care about how a space feels, not just where it is.

The house is absolutely beautiful and very well-appointed. I loved the modern, minimalist design. You can tell a lot of thought and care was put into all aspects of the space. It doesn’t feel like a rental house where some housewares are lower quality - everything is top notch and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The neighborhood is great and quiet and the host is very responsive and helpful with anything that comes up. 10/10.
