Landon was a great host and the property is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful we loved it

The approach tells you everything. The road climbs, the tree canopy thickens, and then the land opens to reveal Cliffside Cabin, a modern retreat set along a ridge with the kind of unobstructed views that make you instinctively pause before stepping inside. The architecture is clean and deliberate, wood-framed and glass-fronted, designed to pull the surrounding landscape into every room. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the expansive vistas, while natural materials and warm interiors keep the space grounded and inviting rather than austere. This is a property built to reward stillness, but with enough on-site diversions to fill an afternoon without ever reaching for your keys.
The cabin itself is generously proportioned, with open-concept living that flows easily between the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to cook, and the living space is anchored by comfortable seating arranged to face the views. Bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed, offering a sense of privacy and calm. But the real pull is outside. A hot tub sits on the property with direct sightlines to the surrounding terrain, positioned for both daytime soaking and evening sessions under open sky. Nearby, a fire pit creates a natural gathering point, the kind of place where conversations extend well past sunset. For those with energy to burn, a dedicated pickleball court adds an unexpected and welcome layer of recreation, making the property equally suited to active getaways and slower, more contemplative stays.
The outdoor spaces at Cliffside Cabin are as considered as the interiors. Expansive decking extends the living area outward, with seating areas that encourage time spent in the open air. The property's elevated position means that light shifts dramatically throughout the day, from bright, wide mornings to golden, drawn-out evenings that seem to last longer than they should. Whether you spend your time moving between the hot tub, the fire pit, and the pickleball court, or simply settle into a chair on the deck with nothing more ambitious than a book and a glass of something cold, the rhythm here adjusts to yours.
What stays with you after Cliffside Cabin is not any single feature but the way the property holds its contradictions so naturally. It is remote enough to feel like a genuine escape, yet equipped enough that nothing essential is missing. It is designed for groups and gatherings, yet every corner offers a quiet place to be alone. The fire pit crackles, the hot tub steams against the cooler air, and the ridge line stretches out in every direction. You leave rested in a way that has less to do with sleep and more to do with the particular quiet that comes from spending time in a place that asks very little of you.

There's something about an A-frame in deep Pennsylvania woods that resets your internal clock — and this one leans into that feeling without pretending to be something it isn't. The rich wooden interiors and oversized windows create a space where the forest doesn't just surround you, it practically moves indoors, the light shifting with the seasons in ways that make each visit feel like a different cabin entirely. It's equal parts contemplative and playful, the kind of place where a competitive pickleball match on the outdoor court gives way to quiet hours by the fire pit without any tonal whiplash. What stays with you is the balance — the landscape around Osceola Mills has a rugged, unhurried quality, and the cabin meets it honestly, never overdesigned but genuinely considered.

This cabin is a hidden gem for the area. It's beautiful up there, my family and I needed a little get away and it worked perfect. Very laid back and relaxing. Walking in it felt like home it had a homey feel to it. We will definitely be back.

This was a great rental with beautiful views of the central Pennsylvania mountains. The home had ample space for our large, family gathering, which included several children and several adults. We stayed there for 3 days and only wished we had booked it for longer. The large living room on the main floor and the game room downstairs provided plenty of play space for the little kids' enjoyment and plenty of sitting areas for the adults. The open-concept kitchen and dining room was spacious, very functional, and very appealing, and we used the eating areas every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely sized (many of which had walk-in closets). And lastly, the outdoor areas were a great treat: the tennis court was an awesome feature; and the outdoor fire pit and grill were added highlights. This home definitely deserves 5 stars, and it's a rental we would enjoy staying in again!
