Great place for a family. Everything is super clean and well kept. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home to vacation in.

The front door opens and the Florida light finds you immediately. Sarasota's Gem is a private residence designed around outdoor living, where the backyard is less an afterthought and more the entire point. A heated pool sits at the center of a wraparound deck, flanked by a spa and a fire feature that transforms the space after dark. The layout reads like a home designed by someone who actually lives in Sarasota and understands the rhythm of the place: mornings poolside, afternoons unhurried, evenings spent outside long after the sun drops behind the tree line.
Inside, the home is clean-lined and comfortable, furnished with a modern sensibility that feels intentional without being overdone. The living spaces are open and bright, built for gathering or for spreading out. A fully equipped kitchen anchors the interior, giving guests the freedom to cook in rather than eat out every night. Bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed, offering the kind of privacy and quiet that hotels rarely manage. Every detail suggests a property that has been outfitted not for show but for genuine use, the kind of home where you settle in quickly and start to feel the pace of your days shift.
Sarasota itself is a city that rewards the curious. The cultural corridor along the bayfront, the proximity to Siesta Key and Lido Beach, the mix of galleries and local restaurants that line the downtown streets: all of it sits within easy reach. This is a part of Florida's Gulf Coast where the natural beauty hasn't been paved over, where the water still runs clear and the pace stays human-scaled. The home's location puts guests close enough to engage with the city but far enough to feel genuinely away from it.
What stays with you about Sarasota's Gem isn't any single feature but the cumulative effect of a place built for pleasure. The pool glowing at night, the warmth of the fire pit pulling everyone outside after dinner, the particular stillness of a Sarasota morning before the neighborhood wakes. It is a home that asks very little of you and gives back something rare: unstructured time in a place that feels entirely yours.

What gets you here is the pull of a beach home that actually feels like a home—spacious, unhurried, with interiors that echo the soft sandy tones of Siesta Key without trying too hard. It's the kind of place where the pool area doubles as the social center, with its own outdoor kitchen and string lights that shift the mood from lazy afternoon float to something more convivial after dark. The fire pit draws people in later, naturally, the way good gathering spots do. There's a generosity to the layout—multiple lounge areas, more than one laundry room—that signals this was designed for groups who want togetherness without tripping over each other. It's close enough to Sarasota's galleries and restaurants to feel connected, but private enough that leaving feels entirely optional. The lasting impression is of a place built around the rituals of a slow, warm-weather week with people you actually like.

The house it is so beautiful, it looks exactly like in the pictures and everything was clean. It is very spacious and the pool area was perfect (the jacuzzi was our favorite part). But the AC doesn't work properly and it was a very warm weekend, the rooms remained uncomfortable specially after the beach. We communicated it to the host, but we didn't get any response, we also request late check out but didn’t receive a response on time either.

My family and I are still blown away by how beautiful this property was. We truly had a family vacation we won’t ever forget! Landon was an outstanding host who was very communicative and extremely friendly! The location of this home is the perfect spot with easy access to great food and Siesta Key. We sure hope to be able to come back and visit again as this felt like home away from home!

When looking online it's hard to really get a feel for what your renting, but this place exceeded our expectations with it's amenities. They really thought out the layout and different areas of the place to enjoy. The outside area is awesome, and the home is really beautiful. Rooms are big and kept in good clean shape. I would recommend this place for sure.
