We had an excellent stay, the pool was great to have as an alternate to the rainy afternoons. Very clean, freshly remodeled home. Would definitely stay again!

The front door opens into a space that feels immediately deliberate. Paradise Palms is a recently renovated residence in Reno, designed with a bold, contemporary sensibility that leans into saturated color, graphic pattern, and a sense of playfulness rarely found in vacation rentals. Every room has been considered with intention, from statement wallpapers and curated furniture to layered textiles and moody lighting that give the home the feeling of a design-forward boutique hotel rather than a standard short-term stay. The result is a property with genuine personality, one that photographs well but feels even better in person.
The centerpiece of the home is its backyard, anchored by a saltwater pool that sets the tone for long, sun-filled afternoons. The outdoor space is built for gathering, with lounge areas that encourage slow mornings and unhurried evenings under the wide Nevada sky. Inside, the layout is generous and well-appointed, offering comfortable accommodations for groups or families looking for a base that doesn't sacrifice style for space. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in, and the living areas are arranged for both togetherness and privacy, striking a balance that makes the home work whether you're hosting a weekend celebration or settling into a quieter escape.
Reno itself has undergone a quiet transformation in recent years, evolving well beyond its legacy as a gaming corridor. The city's downtown has grown into a genuinely interesting cultural pocket, with independent restaurants, breweries, public art, and a creative energy that draws from both its Western heritage and its proximity to the Sierra Nevada. The Truckee River runs through the center of it all, and Lake Tahoe sits less than an hour to the west, offering year-round access to hiking, skiing, and some of the most dramatic alpine scenery in the American West. Paradise Palms sits within easy reach of all of it while maintaining the feeling of a private retreat.
What stays with you is the particular rhythm the home encourages. The pool catches the afternoon light, the interiors wrap you in color and texture, and the scale of the place allows everyone to find their own corner without ever feeling scattered. It's a home that rewards both activity and stillness, designed not just to be occupied but to be enjoyed.

What gets you here isn't the proximity to Siesta Key or the renovated interiors—it's the particular quiet of a private home that feels genuinely considered rather than staged. The design leans contemporary but warm, flooded with natural light in a way that makes the living spaces feel unhurried. Outside, the heated saltwater pool is an uncommon detail for Sarasota, and the kind of thing that shifts a stay from pleasant to personal—you swim when you want, not when the season allows. The backyard, with its mix of lounging spots and space for an evening meal off the grill, has the feel of a place where good nights happen without much planning. It suits the kind of traveler who wants proximity to Sarasota's culture and Gulf Coast beaches but prefers to return to something intimate, something that belongs only to them for the week.

Terrific option in Sarasota. Was visiting for a few days for the Youth Rowing National Championships at Nathan Benderson Park and the house was perfectly placed between the course and downtown Sarasota. Landon has done a terrific job with the house which feels light and airy and brand new. And spotlessly clean which I deeply appreciate. I thought the decor was lovely - simple and pretty. Plus the house had everything needed to make for an easy stay - lots of towels (including beach towels) along with some sunscreen. I didn't end up cooking while I was there, but noticed the kitchen was very well stocked. The street was quiet and the pool in the back was a gift given how hot the weather was. And Landon was so easy to get in touch with and super responsive. Anyway, highly recommend. Thank you Landon, for a terrific stay.

Had a wonderful stay! Can't say enough great things about Landon, our host. He always made himself available and timely in responding to my many questions and special requests. Loved this beautiful home! Perfect place for solo travelers or families. I was very impressed with how well kept this home is. Like many of the reviews, cleanliness is one of the many things that stood out. As well as the decor/aesthetic. I give the pool an A+ and spent many afternoons enjoying it! The home is very well organized and equipped. I highly recommend this listing, and plan to book again when visiting the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

Landon was a super host. Lovely home, definitely would stay here again 100% .<br/>Just a couple of things that I would add furniture- wise a loveseat in the living room and some sort of bug repellent for the back pool deck for when it gets alittle dark. The landscaping front and back is even prettier than the photos. This home is one of the few nicest homes we have ever encountered- It made my husband’s birthday weekend even sweeter! Thank you Landon for being a wonderful host. You’re the best !
