I'm so happy we selected a property on the beach. The heated pool and spa were my favorite amenity. The beach access and ease of parking were valuable. The finishes in the unit were serene and I felt grounded.

Aquamarine by Stay Awhile Villas arrives the way the best private residences do: not with grandeur, but with the quiet assurance that everything has already been considered. The villa takes its name honestly. There is an aquatic clarity to the space, a lightness in the interiors that mirrors the surrounding palette of ocean and sky. Clean lines, open sight lines, and a layout designed around indoor-outdoor living give the property a sense of breath and ease from the moment you step inside.
The residence is configured for groups and families seeking both togetherness and privacy. Multiple bedrooms offer generous personal retreats, while shared living spaces open naturally onto the outdoors, where the pool becomes the centerpiece of daily life. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to cook on their own terms, and the dining areas accommodate lingering meals that stretch from afternoon into evening without anyone checking a clock. This is a home in the truest sense, one designed for the specific rhythms of a vacation that resists structure. Sun, water, conversation, rest, repeat.
Stay Awhile Villas, the collection behind Aquamarine, curates residences with an emphasis on design-forward spaces and hands-off hospitality. The experience leans toward independence rather than resort programming, offering the freedom of a private home with the assurance that thoughtful details have been handled in advance. There is no front desk, no lobby lounge, no scheduled activities. Instead, there is space, light, a well-appointed kitchen, and the kind of privacy that only a standalone villa can provide.
What stays with you after Aquamarine is not any single feature but rather the cumulative effect of days lived at a gentler pace. Mornings that begin poolside with coffee. Afternoons where the only decision is whether to stay in the water or move to the shade. Evenings where dinner is whatever you felt like making, eaten slowly, with the windows wide open. It is the particular luxury of a place that asks nothing of you and gives you, in return, the rarest thing of all: uninterrupted time.

What strikes you first isn't the ocean itself — it's how close it is, how unmediated. This one-bedroom villa on Carbon Beach puts you right at the edge of things, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing Surfrider Beach and Malibu Pier in a way that makes the view feel less like a backdrop and more like a companion. The coastal palette inside is restrained, airy without trying too hard, and the natural fabrics keep things grounded rather than glossy. Mornings here have a particular quality — coffee on the balcony, surfers already in the water, the salt air doing what no candle ever could. It's a place that suits someone who wants Malibu without performance, where the luxury is really just proximity to something elemental and unhurried.

Had an absolutely amazing stay! It’s great to hear that everything described matched my expectations from the photos. I felt secure and private during our stay. Those elements really contributed to our experience. The room was beyond beautiful and everything was perfectly temperature controlled and CLEAN. King bed felt like a dream to sleep in. A perfect score of 10 out of 10 reflects just how much we enjoyed it! Thank you! Will be staying again in the future. Can’t wait to come back!
