The approach alone tells you something. The Pacific stretches wide and uninterrupted, light shifting across the water in that particular way it does along this stretch of coast. Malibu Oceana Bleu by Stay Awhile Villas sits right here, a private residence designed to place the ocean at the center of everything. This is not a hotel, not a resort, but a fully appointed villa where the boundary between indoor living and the open coastline dissolves into glass, air, and salt-tinged breeze.
The home opens generously across its footprint, with living spaces oriented toward the water and designed to accommodate groups, families, or couples seeking the kind of privacy and space that hotels rarely provide. Bedrooms are configured for comfort and rest, while shared areas invite long mornings over coffee and unhurried evenings where conversation carries easily between the kitchen, dining area, and outdoor spaces. A fully equipped kitchen allows guests to cook at their own pace, sourcing from Malibu's farmers markets and local provisions. The interiors carry a clean, coastal sensibility, with furnishings that feel considered but never stiff. This is a house that invites bare feet and open windows.
Outdoors, the property delivers what Malibu does best. The proximity to the ocean defines the rhythm of each day, whether that means walking the shoreline in the early morning, watching the sunset from the deck, or simply sitting with a glass of wine as the light changes. The surrounding area offers access to Malibu's celebrated beaches, hiking trails through the Santa Monica Mountains, and the casual but world-class dining that dots the Pacific Coast Highway. It is a location that balances seclusion with access, remote enough to feel removed from the city yet connected to everything that makes this coastline iconic.
What lingers after a stay at Malibu Oceana Bleu is not a single moment but the overall texture of time spent here. The mornings that stretched longer than expected. The way the house seemed to hold the sound of the waves even after the doors were closed. The rare, uncomplicated pleasure of living temporarily in a place that asks nothing of you except to be present.

What strikes you first isn't the scale of the views — though the panoramic ocean framing through those expansive windows is genuinely arresting — it's the way this hillside villa on Carbon Beach feels both elevated and intimate at once. Four bedrooms, each with its own distinct vista, mean the house doesn't funnel everyone toward a single vantage point; mornings scatter naturally, someone with coffee on the terrace watching surfers near the Malibu Pier, someone else still half-asleep facing a different slice of Pacific blue. The rooftop deck at night, with its 360-degree sweep from city lights to open ocean, is the kind of quiet private moment that larger properties can't replicate. It suits a group that wants proximity to Malibu's social pulse — Nobu, Soho House — without ever feeling tethered to it.

Simply stunning location. The home has sweeping views of the Pacific and the sunsets were worth the price alone. Highly recommend this house for a getaway. Did not want to leave it was so dreamy!
