Awesome house in a great location. Tons of space and very clean. We’ll stay here again.

There is a particular kind of morning that belongs only to ski towns: the light arrives late and silver, the air carries the faint metallic edge of fresh snow, and the mountain is already awake before you are. Abode at Angus House sits at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, close enough to the lifts that the distance between waking up and skiing down is measured in footsteps rather than shuttle rides. This is not a hotel lobby experience or a resort check-in. It is a private residence designed for groups and families who want the full immersion of a mountain retreat with the convenience of being right where the skiing begins.
The home itself is built for gathering. Multiple bedrooms accommodate larger parties comfortably, and the living spaces are scaled generously enough that everyone can spread out after a day on the slopes without retreating to separate corners. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, whether that means a simple breakfast before first tracks or a proper dinner pulled together from Park City's local markets. Common areas are warm and grounded, with the kind of comfortable furnishings that invite you to stay put once the boots come off. A hot tub offers the universal après-ski ritual: sinking into hot water while cold air settles around your shoulders, watching the last light fade from the ridgeline.
Location is the defining advantage here. Park City Mountain Resort's base area is immediately accessible, putting you within reach of over 7,300 acres of skiable terrain without the friction of parking lots or transit schedules. Beyond the mountain itself, Park City's Historic Main Street is nearby, lined with restaurants, galleries, and shops that give the town a character distinct from most ski destinations. The town carries a creative energy rooted in decades of independent film culture and a year-round community that extends well past winter season.
Abode at Angus House delivers something that most ski accommodations struggle to offer simultaneously: genuine proximity to the mountain and the feeling of staying in a real home rather than a transient rental. The rhythm here is unhurried in the best way. You ski until your legs decide otherwise, you come back to a house that is already warm, and the evening unfolds without a reservation or a plan. It is the kind of place where the mountain sets the schedule and everything else simply follows.

There's something about a house built around six fireplaces that tells you the designers understood what mountain living actually feels like—not the postcard version, but the bone-deep pleasure of warmth after cold. Angus House leans into that contrast beautifully, with natural stone and hand-crafted cabinetry that feel earned rather than styled, like the home grew out of the landscape instead of being placed on top of it. It's sized for a group but never loses intimacy; each suite has its own fireplace, its own quiet. The kitchen, anchored by that stone island, becomes the room where everyone eventually gathers. And the proximity to the lifts—just across the parking lot—means the mountain isn't something you admire from a distance. It's the whole point, and this house never lets you forget it.

The actual house is amazing, beautiful layout and really luxurious rooms. Great location walking distance to everything. The bath tub in the master is amazing. We had some plumbing issues and unfortunately could not use the big bath tub in the master suite 2/3 nights we were there. Aside from that, the service and communication was excellent and I would 100% stay here again.

The Angus House is absolutely stunning in its craftsmanship and attention to detail. It was so comfortable for our family in its main living area and bedrooms. The kitchen was a joy to cook in. We loved our stay there.
