This place was just on point, felt everything was thoughtfully planned out, kudos to whoever designed this place. Although would suggest others to rent the 2nd floor apartments.

There is a particular quality to a home that sits close to the water. Light moves differently through the rooms, mornings feel unhurried, and the rhythm of the day bends toward something gentler. Tide House Unit B captures that sensibility in a modern one-bedroom residence designed with clean lines, warm materials, and a sense of ease that feels immediate from the moment you step inside.
The apartment is thoughtfully laid out for two, with a contemporary open-plan living area that connects kitchen, dining, and lounge space in a single bright volume. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to cook at home, whether that means a quick breakfast before heading out or a leisurely evening meal assembled from local markets. The bedroom is quiet and simply appointed, a restful counterpoint to days spent outdoors. Throughout, the design leans toward the minimal without feeling austere, with enough texture and warmth to make the space feel lived-in rather than staged. Dedicated parking is included, a practical detail that removes one small friction from the trip entirely.
Tide House Unit B is managed by Field Trip, a hospitality brand focused on short-stay residences that prioritize design, comfort, and location. The property sits in a seaside setting where proximity to the coast defines the experience. Days here tend to unfold around the water, whether that means morning walks along the shore, afternoons exploring the surrounding neighborhood on foot, or evenings spent with the windows open and the sound of the ocean carrying through the rooms. The surrounding area offers the kind of casual, salt-washed atmosphere that pairs well with a stay like this, where the goal is not to fill every hour but to let a few of them pass with nothing planned at all.
What stays with you after a night or two at Tide House is not a single dramatic moment but the cumulative effect of small, well-considered choices. The way the light pools on the kitchen counter in the morning. The ease of having everything you need without anything you don't. It is the kind of place that makes simplicity feel like a luxury, and proximity to the sea feel like the only itinerary that matters.

What stays with you here isn't grandeur — it's proximity. One block from the sand, this newly built one-bedroom suite trades on restraint: clean lines, high ceilings, natural light doing most of the decorating. The space feels considered rather than decorated, with curated art that nods to the local culture without overdoing the coastal theme. It's the kind of place where the kitchen's quartz countertops and premium appliances quietly suggest you might actually cook, and where the private balcony exists less as a feature and more as a frame for the sound of surf drifting in. The rain shower has that rare spa-like calm that makes you linger. Manhattan Beach's pier, boutiques, and seafood spots sit just steps away, yet the suite holds its own stillness — close enough to everything, far enough to feel like yours.
