Nice place, the private pool was very relaxing.

A gravel path, a private gate, and then the landscape opens. Pool & Vineyard Views Hideaway House sits on the grounds of Vinyl Vin, a boutique Virginia winery, tucked just far enough from the tasting room to feel like your own country home. The house is compact but purposeful, designed for couples or small groups who want proximity to wine country without the performative trappings of a resort. The architecture is clean and modern, with large windows that frame the surrounding vineyard rows and rolling green terrain beyond. From the moment you step inside, the scale feels human, intimate, and deeply private.
The house itself offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and bedrooms that open to views of the vines. Outside, a private pool anchors the experience, set against the vineyard backdrop with enough open sky to make an afternoon feel unhurried. There is no concierge desk, no lobby, no curated itinerary. Instead, you settle into a rhythm that mirrors the land itself: morning coffee on the porch, a midday swim, an evening walk through the rows as the light softens. The winery's tasting experiences are steps away, offering a direct connection to the wines produced on the property without requiring you to leave the estate grounds.
Virginia's wine country has grown quietly and deliberately over the past decade, earning recognition for its quality without sacrificing its pastoral character. The property sits within this landscape, surrounded by farms, small producers, and country roads that reward slow exploration. Whether you spend your days visiting neighboring vineyards, hiking nearby trails, or simply staying put with a bottle from Vinyl Vin's own collection, the area invites a tempo that feels earned rather than staged.
What stays with you after a night or two at Pool & Vineyard Views Hideaway House is the rare simplicity of the arrangement. A well-made house on working vineyard land, a pool that catches the afternoon sun, and the kind of quiet that only comes when you are genuinely surrounded by open country. It is not trying to be more than what it is, and that restraint is precisely what makes it worth returning to.

There's something about a single Queen bed in a house surrounded by 35 acres that tells you exactly what this place is for — slowing down until you forget you were ever moving fast. The Hideaway House isn't trying to be grand; it's a modern, thoughtfully designed space that feels like someone with very good taste built their private retreat and then, somewhat generously, decided to share it. The vineyards and woodlands beyond the windows aren't a backdrop — they're the whole point. Having your own pool and firepit on a private estate this size means the only company you keep is the one you brought. It's a place that rewards stillness more than activity, where the scale of the land around you quietly recalibrates your sense of what space and quiet are actually worth.

The house was so private and peaceful. And Jeffrey was super responsive to questions we had. We walked the property and watched the sunset at the pergola one evening. Would highly recommend!
