Perfect place for a combined birthday celebration and family holiday gathering! Plenty of space and fantastic well-appointed kitchen made cooking easy for our Thanksgiving dinner. Perfect location made walking to all the restaurants and shopping King street and the surrounding area has to offer. Beautiful porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee. We will definitely be back.

We were in Charleston for our son's wedding. Cute place, "The Charleston"--renovated top floors of a Charleston single, and still had 4 BR's and 3 baths! Our BR was huge, decorated with a 4-poster iron bed with curtains. Even though the living room had lots of seating in front of the TV, we spent most of our time on the outside GRAND porch. Stayduvet was very responsive--a different wifi was needed, and they sent someone out within the hour. We knew we would not be ignored if there was a problem. Darling, comfortable place. We WALKED to Chez Nous and Holey City Bagels, etc.

Such a great place to stay if you’re looking for something in walking distance to popular downtown spots! Host was so friendly and responsive. Recommend for bigger groups!

Great place for 5 friends visiting area for a long weekend. Walkable to some of the restaurants and shopping. Easy to walk to a FREE Bus stop which would take you all around town. Make sure to go to the Charleston Visitor Center to buy package deals on some of the museums and houses.

Overall, we had a great time! Close to food & fun! There were 6 of us, but the space could easily fit more (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, 2 twin beds, and a pullout couch option). Everyone was able to sleep comfortably, and the upper floor stayed cool with ac units and fans despite 97° heat and high humidity. We also appreciated that there were 3 full bathrooms to make it easy to refresh (and that it was stocked). The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, silverware, cups, baking supplies, & water filter. Plenty of space to be together or separate a little. The door is a little tricky to lock, but check-in/check-out was a breeze.<br/>The only issue we had was that the wifi password and network did not match the description and despite naming this the first night we were not able to resolve it. Host eventually offered to send someone, but we had less than 24 hours left in our stay (we stayed 3 nights). We had to use personal hot spots for work. Cell reception was a little spotty.
