Very happy. We all slept well. Thanks so much

There is a particular kind of arrival that only a farmhouse can offer. The scale is generous but never imposing, the architecture familiar in a way that feels immediately grounding. The 4BR Farmhouse is a fully remodeled residence designed around togetherness, its four bedrooms and open living spaces arranged to give groups of friends or families enough room to spread out while still pulling everyone back to the same table, the same kitchen, the same conversation. The renovation has been thorough and considered, preserving the structural warmth of the original farmhouse while introducing clean lines, updated fixtures, and a layout that feels modern without losing its character.
The kitchen sits at the center of the home's social life, outfitted for real cooking and long, unhurried meals prepared together. Common spaces are generous and light-filled, furnished with comfort and simplicity rather than decorative excess. Each of the four bedrooms offers its own sense of privacy and rest, a welcome counterpoint to the communal energy of the shared spaces. The remodel has paid careful attention to the details that matter most in a group stay: ample bathrooms, practical storage, quality linens, and the kind of spatial flow that keeps a house from ever feeling crowded, even when every room is full.
This is a property managed by Stay Portland, and it carries the quiet reliability of a team that understands what travelers actually need from a home rental. The essentials are handled with professionalism, from check-in logistics to maintenance, so that your attention can stay where it belongs: on the people you came with and the days unfolding in front of you.
What stays with you after a few nights in the 4BR Farmhouse is less about any single feature and more about the rhythm the house encourages. Mornings are slow. Afternoons drift between the kitchen counter and the living room. Evenings gather everyone back together with the easy gravity of a home that was designed, from the bones out, for exactly this kind of shared time.

There's something quietly disarming about a house that started as a kit — ordered from a Sears catalog in the 1920s — and now stands fully remodeled with quartz countertops and restored moldings existing in the same breath. It doesn't try to be a boutique hotel or a design statement; it reads more like someone's deeply considered home, where refinished hardwood floors carry a century of warmth and a clawfoot tub feels earned rather than staged. The proximity to Division Street's dining scene and a neighborhood brewery gives it an easy, lived-in Portland rhythm. What stays with you is the tension between old bones and modern comfort — a place that feels genuinely rooted rather than curated.

The house was very nice, clean and I liked the style. Kitchen is well stock if you wanted to cook, we mostly ate out. We had a plumbing issue that was immediately taken care of. One upstairs room the air condition appeared to have an error code and did not work, the room was not too hot considering the daytime weather was close to 100. I did not inform the host about this. There is a taco truck next door, food was very good, inexpensive and fast. We would walk to a close by Starbucks every morning. The host was very responsive, friendly, and gave me easy and clear instructions. I would rent this house again.

Perfect location, basically just 10-20 minutes away from everything you'd possibly want to see in Portland. The rooms looks exactly like the photos, was very comfortable during my stay here with a group of seven people.
