Excellent hosts!

The walk from Main Street takes less than a minute. You round a quiet corner of Park City's Old Town, and there it is: a handsome mountain residence dressed in wood and stone, set against the slope with the kind of proximity to the lifts that most ski trips only promise. Abode at Loose Moose sits in one of the most coveted positions in town, close enough to the Town Lift that mornings begin not with shuttle schedules or parking logistics, but with the simple act of stepping outside and heading uphill.
The home itself is built for gathering. With four bedrooms and enough space to sleep ten comfortably, it holds the proportions of a proper mountain lodge scaled for a family or a group of friends traveling together. The living areas are generous and open, anchored by the kind of warmth that comes from real wood, high ceilings, and wide windows that frame the surrounding terrain. A private hot tub offers the requisite end-of-day reward, the cold mountain air sharpening the heat of the water after a full day on the slopes. The kitchen is fully equipped for those evenings when no one feels like venturing out, and the layout throughout encourages the sort of unhurried togetherness that defines the best weeks spent in ski country.
Park City's Old Town is the property's front yard. Main Street runs just below, lined with restaurants, galleries, and bars that have made this stretch one of the most walkable and spirited neighborhoods in any American mountain town. The Town Lift connects directly to Park City Mountain Resort, and the access from this location means you can be on snow in minutes without ever needing a car. During Sundance season, the energy shifts entirely, and the same streets that hum with aprés-ski culture become the backdrop for one of the world's most celebrated film festivals. Year-round, the surrounding Wasatch Range provides hiking, biking, and open space that extends well beyond the resort boundaries.
Abode at Loose Moose is managed by Abode Park City, a local property management company with deep roots in the area and a portfolio of homes positioned throughout the region's most desirable neighborhoods. The level of care is personal and responsive, with local knowledge that extends beyond the home itself into restaurant recommendations, ski conditions, and the small details that shape a stay. What stays with you is the ease of it all: the short walk to the lift in the morning, the return to a warm house at the end of the day, and the rare luxury of a mountain home that puts you at the center of everything without ever feeling like you've sacrificed privacy or space.

There's a particular kind of ease that comes from being close to everything without feeling like you're in the middle of it. This whitewashed chalet sits in that sweet spot—half a mile from Deer Valley's slopes, a short walk from Main Street's restaurants and shops—yet it feels genuinely private, genuinely yours. The interiors are bright and airy in a way that resists the heavy-timber cliché of mountain lodging, and the wrap-around deck gives the whole place a sense of breathing room that most ski-town rentals simply don't have. In winter, you can leave the car behind entirely, which quietly changes the whole rhythm of a trip. It's the kind of place that works for a group without feeling like a group house.

Lodge at Loose Moose was an exceptional rental unit for our ski vacation. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of living and ski storage space for all of us.
Amenities and decor were high quality and comfortable. We are used to tired furniture/linens/appliances at ski rentals, but everything in the unit was new/like new and worked well. From the Sonos sound system to the new, high-capacity washer/dryer, it felt like we were at home. The linens are plentiful and high quality (with separate towels for shower and hot tub), and there were enough toiletries to last the whole week. The unit was stocked with dry firewood which made for made for easy fire-lighting when we got off the slopes.
Beyond the rental itself, Abode was as professional and helpful a management company as I have worked with. Any questions or special requests we had were met promptly and cheerfully.
I cannot recommend this rental highly enough!
