The most perfect spot on the planet.

There is a particular kind of ease that comes with a house close enough to the ocean to hear it from every room. LaCosta Beach House by Stay Awhile Villas offers that proximity as its central luxury, a private residence designed for groups and families who want their days shaped by the rhythm of the coast rather than the formality of a traditional hotel. The architecture is clean and contemporary, with open living spaces that blur the boundary between indoors and out, large windows pulling in natural light, and a layout that encourages gathering without crowding.
The house is built for living, not just sleeping. A well-appointed kitchen anchors the communal spaces, giving guests the freedom to cook together or simply linger over morning coffee before heading to the beach. Multiple bedrooms are spread across the property, each outfitted with comfortable bedding and enough breathing room to feel like a retreat within the retreat. Outdoor areas extend the living space further, with lounging spots and al fresco dining options that make warm evenings feel effortless. The overall design favors a modern coastal sensibility, with neutral tones, natural textures, and furnishings that feel considered without being precious.
What distinguishes a stay here is the independence it affords. This is not a property with a concierge desk or a breakfast buffet. It is a home, fully equipped and thoughtfully arranged, where the schedule belongs entirely to the guest. Days might unfold between the beach and the kitchen table, with afternoons spent poolside or exploring the surrounding area on foot. The pace is self-directed, unhurried, and shaped by the preferences of whoever happens to be staying.
LaCosta Beach House is the kind of place that rewards a second visit. Not because it reinvents itself, but because the simplicity of its offering, a beautiful home near the water with room enough for the people you love, is the sort of thing that only deepens with familiarity. You arrive as a guest and leave feeling like the house was always yours.

There's a particular quality to a house that sits directly on the sand in Malibu — not perched above it, not glimpsing it between other structures, but genuinely on it. The La Costa Beach House has that quality, and it shapes everything. The interiors lean into it rather than fighting it: soft beiges, aquamarine touches, floor-to-ceiling glass that treats the Pacific less like a view and more like a roommate. It's a place designed for bare feet and unhurried mornings, where breakfast on the patio feels like the main event and the infinity pool at sunset isn't performative — it's just where you end up. The fire pit after dark, the sound of waves replacing conversation when the stories run out — that's the real luxury here. It suits people who want Malibu without the scene, intimacy over spectacle.

Very nice beachfront home in Malibu! Kids truly enjoyed it and had the private beach which made it a lot easier to spend the time with them!

Stay A While was very responsive, they were there when we checked in, answered questions, and came out immediately (were there in 10 mins) when we had an issue with the garage.
The property looked better than the pictures!
Would highly recommend!

Once again Stay Awhile Villas has exceeded my expectations. Their team is the best. Their homes are the cleanest. They’re the quickest and most responsive. They truly do care about their guests. I had a beautiful and very thoughtful welcome assortment of groceries, snacks, and rose awaiting my arrival. (A great touch, and very much appreciated!) Their homes are always stocked with everything you might need. Very comfortable for long term stays. I always send my housekeepers ahead of me to clean and get me organized… they were so happy to report at how clean the house was. I’ve stayed in quite a few of these properties and this one was their favorite. Thanks again Stay Awhile, you’re awesome! A+
