We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the welcome letter and wine! Very clean and organized.

There is a particular pleasure in staying somewhere that feels like a home rather than a hotel, especially when that home comes with a rooftop patio and a skyline to watch as the evening settles in. The Aster is a private residence designed for guests who want proximity to the energy of Broadway without surrendering to it. Two miles from the live music, honky-tonks, and late-night warmth of one of America's most celebrated strips, the property offers something increasingly rare: a place to return to that feels genuinely yours.
The layout is residential in the truest sense. This is not a pared-down vacation rental mimicking a hotel room but a fully appointed home with the kind of space and thoughtfulness that invites you to settle in. The interiors are clean and contemporary, furnished with comfort and style in equal measure. But the defining feature is the rooftop patio, an open-air space that extends the living area upward and outward, giving you a private perch above the neighborhood. It is the kind of space where mornings begin slowly with coffee and where evenings stretch long, the city visible but held at a comfortable distance.
The Aster is managed by Hallson, a hospitality company that curates a portfolio of design-forward residential properties. The attention to detail here reflects that curation. Kitchens are fully equipped for guests who want to cook, and the overall sense of the space is that someone has thought carefully about what a traveler actually needs versus what looks good in a photograph. The result is a residence that functions beautifully for couples, small groups, or anyone who prefers the independence of a private home paired with the polish of a professionally managed property.
With Broadway just two miles away, the rhythm of a stay here is shaped by easy access to live music venues, restaurants, and the particular electricity that defines the surrounding area. But the return is always to something quieter. The Aster gives you the rare ability to participate in the energy of a vibrant destination on your own terms, then come back to a rooftop under open sky, where the noise fades and the night belongs to you.

There's a particular kind of confidence in a property that doesn't try to compete with its city but instead gives you a quiet place to absorb it. This East Nashville townhome has that quality — contemporary lines softened by warm tones, natural light doing most of the decorative work, and a sense of space that feels considered rather than staged. It's the kind of place where four bedrooms somehow manage to feel intimate rather than sprawling, where the design invites you to settle in rather than simply admire it. The rooftop is the real anchor, though — a private vantage point over the Nashville skyline that turns the city into something you witness rather than just visit. And the location matters: close enough to Broadway's energy that you can chase it, far enough into East Nashville's neighborhood texture that you don't have to.

Our stay at this Hallson Hospitality Co property was excellent! The whole team at Hallson was great in their communication from start to finish. We had a great trip to Nashville and the location of the property and seamless booking / communication with the Hallson team made a huge difference. We would absolutely stay at this location or another Hallson Hospitality company property in the future!

The Aster was such an amazing home. From the location, to the decor, to the hosts. Could not have chosen a better listing to stay at. Traveled here with a group of friends and it comfortably housed all 8 of us. We had a few things that needed attention of Hallson, however they were responsive and took immediate action to getting it fixed. The next time I am in the area, I will absolutely consider booking again. The location is such a steal for the value of the listing. So close to lots of food, grocery and party venues in the East Nashville area.
