There is a particular quality of light that belongs to hotels designed around courtyards and pools, where architecture frames the sky rather than competes with it. Apollo Palm Hotel channels that sensibility with a midcentury-inflected design language that feels both nostalgic and deliberately contemporary. Clean lines, warm wood tones, and textured surfaces meet open-air corridors and generous windows, creating a property where the boundary between indoors and out dissolves almost entirely. The effect on arrival is immediate: a slowing down, an exhale, a sense that the built environment has been calibrated to encourage stillness.
Accommodations at Apollo Palm Hotel are designed with the same restrained confidence that defines the public spaces. Guest rooms balance comfort with visual clarity, featuring curated furnishings, quality linens, and a palette drawn from natural materials. The spaces feel residential rather than decorative, with thoughtful details that reward a longer stay. The pool serves as the property's social and spatial anchor, a place where mornings begin slowly and afternoons stretch without agenda. Loungers line the deck, and the surrounding landscape softens the geometry of the architecture with palms and greenery that lend the grounds their signature character.
Dining and drinking are woven into the daily rhythm of the property rather than set apart from it. Guests gather in spaces that feel relaxed and sociable, where food and drink are treated as an extension of the hotel's broader atmosphere rather than a separate destination. The approach favors simplicity and quality over spectacle, with offerings that complement the unhurried pace the property cultivates.
What stays with you after Apollo Palm Hotel is not any single detail but a feeling of proportion. The rooms are the right size. The pool is close enough. The light lands well. It is the kind of place where design serves experience rather than the other way around, where every element has been considered but nothing feels overwrought. You leave not impressed so much as restored, carrying with you the quiet conviction that a hotel, at its best, is simply a well-made frame for time spent well.

What we love about this stay
There's a quiet confidence to this place — it doesn't try to compete with the ancient city outside its doors, but rather lets Athens seep in naturally. The citrus-scented lobby, the Aegean-inspired palette in the rooms, the garden where breakfast leans into local honey, olives, and artisan cheeses — it all feels like a property that understands where it is without performing it. The terrace, shaded by olive trees, is the kind of spot where a glass of Greek wine becomes the actual punctuation mark on your day, not just a drink. It's a hotel for the traveler who wants centrality without chaos, and a sense of place that lingers well after checkout.

The best hotel I have ever stayed so far! All the staff was extremely helpful and kind, they made me feel welcomed from the check in and made sure that my stay was superb. I got un upgrade and couldn’t thank them enough as my room was fabulous! The property was very clean and every day they were changing towel, make beds, clean the bathroom and so on.

We used the Apollo Palm Hotel in Athens to host the speakers and participants in our international conference. We were all very pleased by the warm welcome, the kind staff who went over and above to accommodate us, the rich breakfast (many of our guests kept commenting on how great the breakfast was), the atmosphere, the attention to detail. The cookies and the lemonade in the Lobby were adding an extra touch. The palm trees in the court yard made it great for photo shoots. The rooms and the public bathrooms were always clean, the hospitality team were very friendly and smilie. As the organizer of the group I had the privilege to work closely with Christina, the sales manager of the hotel! If I could give a 10-star review for her, I would definitely do it. She is exceptional!!!
