What we love about this stay
Request one of the park-facing rooms on the upper floor — there are only twenty in the entire château, and the ones overlooking the seven-hectare grounds feel like staying in a private estate rather than a hotel. Dinner at Le Parc is non-negotiable, but ask for a table near the windows at golden hour; the light through the old trees is extraordinary and sets the tone for the entire meal. Book the spa for late morning, not afternoon — you'll practically have it to yourself. Before or after dinner, walk the gravel paths through the parkland with a glass of something local. Reims's cathedral is ten minutes away, but honestly, the hardest part of staying here is finding a reason to leave the grounds.

Ravie Notre court séjour frôle la perfection. Je suis une grande voyageuse qui connaît bon nombre d’hôtels de haut standing en France et le domaine des Crayères figure largement dans le top 10 de ceux ci. L’accueil est chaleureux, le lieu est splendide. Un hôtel qui mérite amplement ses distinctions ! Ne changez rien.
