What we love about this stay
Request a room with a private balcony and fireplace—when the temperature drops after sunset, you'll want both. Step outside around 6:30 p.m. in cooler months and watch the red spires shift from burnt orange to deep violet in about fifteen minutes flat; it's the best light show you'll see without a ticket. Mornings, take your coffee to the courtyard before other guests surface—the juniper-scented stillness with first light hitting the rocks is the real reason you came. Skip driving to resort pools during peak afternoon; use your access to Los Abrigados early, when the water's still and the canyon views are uncontested. This is a property that rewards slowness—plan less, linger more.

The woman who helped me check in was so helpful and friendly and welcoming. It was a particularly difficult moment in life for me and I needed a place to rest and heal and this place was gorgeous

We highly recommend this hotel!! The hotel is in a great location. It is quaint and charming with beautiful, unique decor and architecture. Terri and Fran were very welcoming and gave us information on great hikes in the area. We loved the self- serve snacks and drinks available at all hours. We also loved having a glass of wine while sitting outside by the fireplace . The rooms are very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. We originally booked 1 night but decided to extend our stay for an extra 2 nights as we loved it so much! We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful property that took great pride in every detail Everything. The gardens, the fireplaces, the decor, I loved every detail, loved that it was pet friendly, I loved the fresh baked cookies and snacks, the option for a glass of wine or beverage charged to your room. The history! everything!
