What we love about this stay
Greydon House is a proper Nantucket address — small enough that the staff remembers your name by dinner. Ask for a room facing the garden; the street-side ones catch cobblestone foot traffic on summer mornings. The restaurant punches well above its size — sit at the bar if you're solo and let the kitchen guide you through whatever's just come off the boats. Book the concierge's private beach picnic at least a week out; they source from the same purveyors as the restaurant, and it's the best midday meal you'll have on-island. Evenings, skip the town crowds and linger in the courtyard garden after nine — the light fades slowly and the quiet feels genuinely rare for a property this central. Located in the heart of town and short walk to both ferry locations. Welcoming and helpful desk crew, smaller but very comfortable and well appointed rooms, complimentary nespresso coffee and lively evening bar. (We didn’t eat in the restaurant)

We loved our stay! We've stayed at countless places across Nantucket over the years and this was the first that had us saying "we need to stay here again next year." John and his team are all wonderful. We loved having an early check-in, enjoyed the bar downstairs and the location can't be beat.
