We enjoyed the lovely 3 night we spent at Hastings House. The gourmet dining package was wonderful and the picnic lunch was quite a nice surprise.

Beautiful proper with incredible service and stunning views of Ganges Bay. Highly recommend for staying on Salt Spring; the restaurant is first-class and certainly worth a visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

When I left I asked the manager what was the most common advice they received from departing guests .They both looked quizzical. I advised them to not listen to the snake ....DO NOT EAT THE APPLES.I then explained “You are living in Paradise “,what a magnificent experience,there is not even the most mundane thing anyone could complain about.There is a very special ambiance about this place .I could feel it the minute we entered and it was there the whole time of our stay.This is a very special place where all of the staff ,without any sign of discomfort or exertion ,make you feel special and perfectly at home.

Have stayed here before a few times, always very pleased with surroundings and the service we received. This visit was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A complimentary bottle of champagne and a welcome message for our 50th was waiting in our room for us. It is small things like this that always makes our visits here very special.
