What we love about this stay
Grab a garden-facing room if you can — the street-side ones catch more noise than you'd want, and the inward views feel like a private courtyard escape that has no business existing this close to Sunset. Claim a poolside lounger by mid-morning; by noon, every chair has a towel on it. The Italian restaurant plays best at dinner when the string lights come on and the menu leans heavier — order the pasta, skip the lighter options you can get anywhere on the boulevard. Take the complimentary bikes out around golden hour and ride down Rowena toward the reservoir; the light hitting the hills is the version of LA most people never see. We surprised my mom with a room here for her birthday, and it was excellent all around. The staff were superb and went above and beyond to make her trip extra special -- upgrading her room and giving her a little delicious cake. We met her and my dad for brunch at their restaurant, Marco Polo, which was also delightful. 10/10 recommend! The room design was fabulous too.

Would stay again! Had no complaints during our stay. The rooms are fairly priced, and the service/ experience was exactly as hoped. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Loved everything about this staycation. I have dined at Marco Polo and loved it, but the hotel stay made it extra special. The service was incredibly cool and genuine from the restaurant to the hotel. Pool vibe was chill and not weird or pretentious. Check-in and check out were also lovely, and the valet was kind and friendly from arrival to departure.
