Experience refined luxury in Downtown Dubai

We are currently staying at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai, and the experience so far has been nothing short of exceptional. We are celebrating our anniversary, and the team has gone above and beyond to make it truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the service has been warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. We were delighted with a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise and set the tone for our stay. Every detail has—from the immaculate room presentation to the seamless service—reflects the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The staff consistently demonstrate top-notch hospitality, always attentive yet discreet, and eager to ensure our comfort at every moment. Their professionalism, kindness, and personalized touches have made us feel truly valued as guests. We have been working in the Maldives tourism industry for a very long time but this is special and amazing. We are staying in Room 1005, and everything so far has exceeded our expectations. Thank you to The Lana team for creating such a beautiful anniversary experience and Thanks to Aida for helping with a seamless checking and assistance provided so far. We are very much looking forward to the rest of our stay and will certainly be recommending this hotel to others.

A few weeks ago, I visited The Lana for High Tea with friends from the moment you arrive, the design makes an impression, the soft colour palette, refined interiors, and elegant staff uniforms all set a beautifully considered tone. Although I was only there for a meal for a couple of hours I was made to feel genuinely special throughout the experience. What stayed with me most was the scent. In a city like Dubai, where fragrances are often bold and intense, this was something entirely different refined, balanced, and truly unique. We were told the scent was created exclusively for the hotel. Everything about the visit felt thoughtful and elevated. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and I’m very much looking forward to returning to experience the hotel rooms and enjoy a stay at the property one day. After some debate as to whether to try a Jumeirah property on the beach or The Lana I am 1000% delighted we came here! I already a loyal Dorchester Collection customer and love many of their hotels so it was exciting to see a modern interpretation with their classic and unique style and service. So many good things about this hotel it is hard to know where to start! Fantastic and genuine and quick service in every area without exception, angelique at high society in particular made our every sunbathing day a happy and well fed one. Superb spa and gym with a fantastic marina view especially at night, Sofian in the spa possibly the best masseuse I’ve ever had! Let alone the beautiful Dior gym accessories… Our marina bay rooms were a fantastic size, stylish and perfectly appointed with everything we needed. Delicious food in all the restaurants we tried. Cannot wait to return in the new year.

This was our second stay at The Lana and it was nothing short of exceptional!. We stayed in a suite with our son and it was absolutely breathtaking. The attention to detail was unbelievable. Beautiful arrangements of fresh pink roses, fresh fruit & bottles of water. We were totally spoiled for our two nights stay. I have to mention also the wonderful hotel staff. Too many to mention individual names but we were made to feel very welcome and they were always available to help in any way!😊 The food offerings at The Lana are also fabulous. Breakfast is very tasty with lots of choices and the setting next to the canal is so relaxing and beautiful. Lunch and dinner at High Society needs to be experienced to be believed…outstanding!. The manager Paul Hatton is a credit to the hotel …he has a lovely personality and looked after us so well! All in all…possibly the best hotel in Dubai - we think so anyway. Can’t wait to return!💕🙏

Beautiful hotel, as one would expect. Elegant and wonderful staff. Room over looking Marina (this is a must) was large and comfortable. Well equipped and comfy bed. Nice balcony with afternoon sun. Dinner at the veranda was super. Small plates and delicious. Service was excellent. Rafiq was a delight as were the other two members of staff. Setting was charming for light bites. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely setting overlooking Marina. Bread basket was heavenly. Service attentive and well trained. Pool is on the roof - not good if you do not like heights. Rather small and lots of beds - definitely for a certain crowd. However! The location is a building site. All around. If you do not have a marina view you are overlooking a construction site almost in all directions. It’s going to be a perfect short stop for the airport for now, but otherwise a year or two before the area is finished and I would want to stay longer.
