There is a particular electricity that pulses through a city block built around the roar of a stadium. The Rally Hotel at McGregor Square sits at the intersection of sport, culture, and urban hospitality in the heart of downtown Denver, directly adjacent to Coors Field. The building rises as a modern anchor within McGregor Square, a mixed-use development designed to be a gathering place long after the final pitch. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the downtown skyline and the Rocky Mountains beyond, while interiors draw from Denver's industrial heritage and contemporary energy. The design leans confident and graphic, with bold artwork, custom installations, and a color palette that nods to the spirit of competition without becoming literal.
The hotel's 112 guest rooms and suites are built for comfort and city views, with thoughtful layouts, curated minibars, and details that reward a longer look. Many rooms offer direct sightlines to the ballpark or the mountain horizon. For groups and celebrations, a collection of suites and event spaces accommodate everything from intimate dinners to larger gatherings. The Rally's public spaces are designed to keep you moving between them. The rooftop pool deck is a standout, offering a heated pool, private cabanas, and panoramic views that stretch from the stadium to the peaks. It functions as both a daytime retreat and an evening social scene, shifting tone with the light.
Dining and drinking anchor the ground-level experience. The Rally's food and beverage program includes multiple concepts within the hotel and across McGregor Square. On property, expect a lobby bar and lounge that serves as the hotel's social living room, a place where pregame anticipation and postgame conversation overlap naturally. The surrounding square adds layers of its own, with restaurants and bars that extend the hotel's footprint into the neighborhood. The fitness center and wellness amenities keep mornings grounded, while the hotel's concierge team connects guests to Denver's broader cultural landscape, from the RiNo Art District to the trails and breweries that define the city's identity.
McGregor Square itself is worth understanding. More than a hotel address, it is an activated plaza with giant LED screens, seasonal programming, live events, and year-round energy. The Rally Hotel benefits from this constant hum, positioned so that stepping outside your room places you in the center of Denver's most dynamic public gathering space. Whether the Rockies are playing or the square is hosting a concert, there is always a reason to linger. The hotel sits within easy reach of Union Station, Larimer Square, and the best of LoDo, making it a natural base for exploring the city on foot.
What stays with you after a night at The Rally Hotel is the rhythm of the place. It is a hotel that thrives on communal energy without sacrificing the private pleasures of a well-designed room and a view you did not expect to find in the middle of a city. It is Denver at its most spirited and self-assured.

What we love about this stay
There's a particular energy here that feels borrowed from the city itself—youthful, a little restless, genuinely alive. The Rally Hotel sits at the center of McGregor Square, which means it doesn't just observe Denver's pulse, it's wired into it. The design leans contemporary but carries enough local character to avoid feeling transplanted from somewhere else, and the soaring lobby sets a tone that's more cultural gathering place than traditional hotel entrance. What lingers is how the culinary program threads Colorado's agricultural identity into something personal, dishes that taste like they belong to this specific place. Views shift between city energy and distant Rockies depending on where you land, and that duality—urban charge meeting mountain calm—runs through the whole experience. It's a property for people who want to feel a city rather than simply visit one.

The staff was so kind and inviting! Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Room overlooked the ballpark and was convenient to everything!

It was our visit to the Rally, and we were very impressed. Check-in and out was very smooth and efficient. We were very impressed with the staff and accommodations. We were there for a Rockies game, so it was a pretty quick trip. My only complaint was that I originally booked a corner room with a balcony through Hotels.com, but when I checked in, they told me that there were no balcony rooms available. The front desk receptionist said they've had issues before with folks booking through third party sites and that there may or may not be certain types of rooms available, but the sites allow for them to be booked anyway. But overall, it was a great stay; we'll definitely be back.
