Tucked beside a tranquil lake in Kansas, The Butterfly Pods invite you to experience the quiet luxury of off-grid living - without sacrificing comfort or style. Designed to PASSIVHAUS standards, this eco-conscious property offers two beautifully crafted cabins that blend architectural precision with the warmth of nature. From sunrise paddles to starlit soaks, every element here is designed to help you unwind, reconnect, and slow down.

Together, the two pods accommodate up to 9 guests (8 adults + 1 child) across 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. In the main pod, you'll find two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and another with a full bed plus a loft bunk ideal for a child or young teen (up to 120 lbs). Each has its own en-suite bathroom.

The annex pod adds two additional queen bedrooms, each with a compact, well-appointed en-suite. Wake up with the sun streaming through towering 10-foot custom windows, as deer graze quietly beyond the glass. Every bed features a Helix mattress dressed in five-star hotel-quality linens, ensuring your sleep is as restful as your surroundings.

The main pod's open-concept kitchen and dining area features slanted ceilings, granite countertops, and a full suite of high-end appliances-including an oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, and more. Enjoy casual meals at the granite island (seating for four), or gather around the tulip-style dining table, which seats four more. In the main living room, a wood-burning stove, cozy furnishings, and a Frame TV make it a perfect space to relax after a day outdoors.

The annex cabin offers a more intimate lounge with a leather daybed, a casual dining area, and a small bar setup-ideal for morning coffee or evening conversation. Outdoor spaces are where the magic of the Butterfly Pods truly shines. Wrap-around decks provide multiple vantage points to take in the lake, forest, and sky.

Hammocks built into the decking invite spontaneous naps or reading sessions in the breeze. A wood-fired hot tub and solar-heated seasonal pool add rejuvenating touches year-round. The private fishing dock is perfect for casting a line-or simply enjoying the peaceful shimmer of the lake.
