What we love about this stay
Get into the hot tub right at dusk — not later, not earlier. You want to watch the ridgeline lose its edges while the first stars arrive. That transition is the whole point of being here. The barrel sauna is best in the morning before anyone else is up; the cold plunge afterward will rewire your entire day. Don't sleep on the wood-fired pizza maker in the outdoor kitchen — bring your own dough and toppings, because assembling dinner out there with the mountains going amber behind you turns a meal into a memory. Skip the TV. The 450 square feet are beautifully designed, but The Bear earns its keep outdoors. Settle into the fire pit after dark with something worth sipping slowly, and let the quiet do the rest.

Absolutely enjoyed the weekend stay. Unfortunately was not able to enjoy a bit of the amenities because of hurricane weather but that is of no fault of the owners, of course. Comfortable bed and linens for snuggly nights of watching movies.

The cabin and its amenities were everything we could want! We enjoyed and used the personal hot tub and fire pit daily. We also used most of the other amenities on the property such as the hammocks, dry sauna, and putt putt golf. The cabin itself was clean and stylish. Being a gated area meant there was no traffic. The area was quiet and peaceful. We loved this location for its close proximity to several state parks and waterfalls. We also ate at several good restaurants in Cookeville. It is also close enough to Nashville that we did spend one afternoon there. I did message Jake once during our stay and he was quick to respond.

The Hideout Hotels was the perfect stay for a little getaway! What a beautiful space with relaxing amenities, you could spend your entire time on site if you wished! Great hiking at state parks were just 15-20 minutes away. Jake's service was spectacular and very detailed to ensure you had the best stay. We definitely are planning on coming back here in the future!
