A very peaceful place to stay and very clean. It was nice having a local host that responded to all your questions within 5-10 minutes. It is a gated community so just be mindful of the rules. Overall, a very great stay and tons of amenities.

The approach alone sets the tone. You arrive through Brasada Ranch, a sprawling resort community carved into the high desert terrain of Central Oregon, where juniper-studded hills roll toward the distant silhouettes of the Cascade Range. Pioneer by AvantStay sits within this landscape as a generously proportioned private home, designed to gather groups in a setting that feels both remote and remarkably well-appointed. The architecture leans into its surroundings with natural materials, expansive windows, and open living spaces that blur the threshold between interior comfort and the vast, dry beauty outside.
The home accommodates up to twelve guests across multiple bedrooms, each arranged to offer privacy without sacrificing the communal spirit that defines this kind of stay. Common areas are built for long evenings and unhurried mornings. A spacious great room anchors the main floor, flowing into a fully equipped kitchen where meals become a shared event rather than an afterthought. Outdoor living extends the footprint considerably, with a private hot tub, a fire pit area, and deck space that opens directly onto views of the high desert terrain. These are not token additions. They are where much of the day unfolds, particularly in the golden hours when the Central Oregon sky shifts through its unhurried spectrum of color.
As part of the Brasada Ranch community, guests at Pioneer have access to the resort's broader amenities. That includes an athletic club, swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, and an extensive network of trails suited for hiking, mountain biking, or simply walking through the sage and lava rock landscape. The resort's golf course threads through the natural contours of the land, and equestrian programming offers another way to engage with the terrain at a slower pace. In winter, proximity to Mount Bachelor opens up skiing and snowboarding, while the nearby town of Bend provides a well-established dining and cultural scene without the sprawl of a larger city.
What Pioneer ultimately provides is a home base with the scale and character to hold a meaningful gathering. Whether it is a multi-family holiday, a milestone celebration, or simply a long weekend among close friends, the property rewards those who come with the intention to stay put, cook together, sit outside after dark, and let the high desert's particular stillness do what it does best. The days here have a slow, wide rhythm, shaped by open space and the kind of quiet that most places can only approximate.

There's a particular kind of quiet that comes with being set into the high desert landscape of Central Oregon, and this property seems designed to honor it rather than compete with it. The architecture walks a careful line between modern and rustic—open, light-filled interiors that feel considered but not overly styled, the kind of space where a group can spread out without losing the thread of togetherness. What lingers is the outdoor living: a shaded deck with a firepit and hot tub that feels less like an amenity checklist and more like the actual heart of the house. It's a place built for the kind of trip where four bedrooms mean four different rhythms coexisting easily, with Brasada Ranch's trails and golf course just beyond the door when restlessness sets in.

We had a wonderful experience with our stay at the Pioneer house in Brasada. The house was everything we could have hoped for with so much space, comfortable bedrooms, a great kitchen for cooking, and a spacious deck for sitting outside and enjoying the view. The master bed and bath was enormous and each of the other rooms had more than enough space for guests. We'd definitely stay here again!
