Stay Duvet
There is a particular kind of welcome that only a home with personality can offer. Casa Verde announces itself not with grandeur but with a gathered sense of style, a residence where bold color meets layered texture and every corner reveals something worth noticing. The name itself hints at the palette that runs through the space, a verdant thread woven into walls, furnishings, and decorative details that feel personal rather than performative. This is not a property that was styled to disappear. It was designed to be remembered.
The interiors of Casa Verde carry an eclectic sensibility that rewards curiosity. Vintage pieces sit alongside contemporary furnishings, art lines the walls, and patterned textiles bring warmth to rooms that feel lived-in and intentional. The residence accommodates guests comfortably with well-appointed sleeping quarters, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals at your own pace, and generous common areas where groups can settle in for long evenings or quiet mornings. The living spaces encourage lingering, whether over coffee at a sunlit table or sprawled across a sofa with nowhere to be. There is a sense of domestic ease here that hotels rarely replicate, a rhythm that belongs to the guest rather than to a schedule.
Spring Street itself provides the backdrop, a neighborhood with walkable energy and its own distinct character. The surrounding blocks offer the kind of independent restaurants, shops, and gathering spots that make a stay feel rooted in something local rather than tourist-facing. Casa Verde sits within this fabric naturally, close enough to the pulse of daily life to feel connected, quiet enough to serve as a genuine retreat after a day spent exploring on foot.
What stays with you after a night or two at Casa Verde is not any single detail but the cumulative effect of a home that has been assembled with real affection. The eclectic mix of furnishings, the bold use of color, the sense that someone cared deeply about how each room would feel to inhabit. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, cook a meal you wouldn't normally bother with, and linger a little longer than planned.

There's a particular kind of Charleston stay that feels less like a hotel and more like borrowing someone's beautifully considered life for a few days — this is that. The design walks a line between traditional and contemporary without defaulting to either, and the one-bedroom scale keeps things intimate in a way that larger properties simply can't replicate. Tucked into Cannonborough, you're in a neighborhood that feels lived-in rather than purely touristic, yet King Street is a three-minute walk away, which means the energy of Charleston's best dining and shopping is always close without being constant. The proximity to Chez Nous alone says something about the sensibility here — this is a place chosen by someone who knows where to eat well.

We liked the personality and charm of Casa Verde; the location was very convenient, with lots of good dining/bar options and all that old Charleston has to offer. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The backyard was very overgrown when we arrived and inaccessible (they were working on it the day before we left, so it looked more inviting by the time we left); we didn't miss it, but worth noting. The parking is convenient in a little lot across the street, but the entrance is off a one-way street and is hard to miss the first time; no problem, just circle the block and try again! Would definitely recommend Casa Verde.

StayDuvet was a great location to stay at! My fiancé and I wanted to experience Charleston before we were moving to the area, so we stayed here. The air BNB was very clean, cozy, and it was a relaxing getaway from our everyday life. The location was easy to find, just off a main road, and parking, while not directly in front, is very closeby. This air BNB is located just 1.5 blocks from Kings street, and we loved having this accessibility and not needing to call and Uber everytime we wanted to go anywhere. StayDuvet was very accessible during our visit. I actually had the wrong code written down, and upon realizing this at the door, I quickly gave them a call and I was able to enter the property. They were also very responsive via text with questions I had throughout my stay. Overall great time and we would stay at this location again.

Loved staying here! The place was beautiful and very cozy to make you feel at home. Very walkable area around the place and we did not need to use our car the whole trip! Finally, extremely responsive host that was very helpful!
