Wonderful location to be able to walk and enjoy Charleston!
Stay Duvet
There is a particular quality of light that filters through palm fronds and lands on white walls, softening everything it touches. At The Breezy Palm (Suite B), that light defines the experience. This is a thoughtfully appointed private suite designed for guests who want the comforts of home without sacrificing the sense of escape. The space is airy and uncluttered, with clean lines and a warm, relaxed palette that lets the surroundings do the talking.
The suite itself is designed for easy, unhurried stays. A comfortable bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a living area that invites slow mornings with coffee or quiet evenings in. The kitchen gives you the freedom to cook at your own pace, stocking it with whatever catches your eye at a local market. Outdoor space extends the living area beyond four walls, offering a place to sit with a book or simply watch the light shift through the afternoon. Every detail feels intentional without being fussy, the kind of space where you settle in quickly and find your rhythm within the first hour.
The Breezy Palm (Suite B) is the sort of place that rewards simplicity. There are no elaborate programming schedules or concierge-driven itineraries here. Instead, the property offers something increasingly rare: the space and quiet to design your own days. Whether that means long walks, exploring the surrounding area at your own pace, or doing very little at all, the suite accommodates without imposing. It functions as a private base, one that feels personal rather than transactional.
What stays with you after a visit is not any single feature but the overall feeling of ease. The breeze that moves through the rooms, the natural light that fills every corner, the sense that someone cared about how this space would feel to live in, even briefly. It is a residence that understands the difference between luxury as spectacle and comfort as craft, and it lands firmly, gracefully, on the side of the latter.

There's a particular ease to staying in Cannonborough-Elliotborough — the neighborhood carries Charleston's history without performing it, and this suite feels tuned to that same frequency. The interiors lean tropical and contemporary, with coastal hues and soft textures that read more personal than decorated, more lived-in than staged. Natural light does most of the work here, filling the living space in a way that makes the whole place feel unhurried. You're close enough to King Street that the restaurants and boutiques are a genuine three-minute walk, yet the suite itself holds a quiet that feels distinctly its own. It's the kind of stay that suits people who want Charleston's energy without surrendering their calm.

Greta stay in a great town! Everything was walkable.

Excellent location. It’s perfectly walkable to just about everything downtown. The space was beautifully decorated and baby friendly. We have an active crawler and nothing risky was within reach. Great little outdoor yard space in the back, too. Just as described and the host was responsive. Only note to keep in mind - the stairway to the unit is pretty narrow/steep which can be challenging with baby.

Great location! And is exactly as pictured.

Very pleased with our stay here. The hosts did a great job providing recommendations to local hot spots that would be relevant to us. The place was clean and exactly as described. It was in a great location, which was close enough to walk to local restaurants and shopping. The driveway is a little tight if you have more than one car, so just plan accordingly. We had no issues. Must be able to get up and down stairs as the unit is on the second floor. Overall, very happy with our stay.
