Great home in a perfect location!

Stay Duvet
The front door opens onto a Nashville that feels distinctly personal. Mint Julep occupies a prime downtown location with the kind of presence that larger properties spend years trying to manufacture: a full private residence with soaring ceilings, curated interiors, and what is billed as the largest private pool in downtown Nashville. The effect is immediate. This is not a hotel room dressed up as a home. It is a home that happens to operate with the generosity and polish of the best boutique hospitality.
The residence itself is designed for groups and gatherings, offering spacious living areas, well-appointed bedrooms, and a kitchen built for more than reheating takeout. But the true anchor of the property is the outdoor space. The oversized private pool commands the backyard, flanked by lounge areas that make it easy to lose an afternoon without ever checking the time. It is the kind of setup that reframes a city trip entirely, giving you permission to stay in, slow down, and let Nashville come to you rather than chasing it block by block. The interiors carry a warm, layered aesthetic that nods to the city's character without becoming a theme. Comfortable furniture, thoughtful lighting, and enough space to breathe make the rooms feel lived-in rather than staged.
Downtown Nashville sits just outside the door. The honky-tonks of Lower Broadway, the restaurants of the Gulch, and the live music venues that have made this city a global destination are all within close reach. Having a private residence as a base changes the rhythm of how you experience the city. There is somewhere genuinely worth returning to at the end of the night, a place where the noise drops away and the pool catches whatever light the evening has left to offer.
What stays with you about Mint Julep is the proportion of it all. The pool is larger than you expected. The rooms are more generous than the listing suggested. The distance to everything you came to Nashville for is shorter than you imagined. It is the rare downtown property where the private experience rivals the public one, where the best hours of the trip might be the ones you spend not going anywhere at all.

There's a particular kind of generosity built into this house — not showy, but spatial. The rooms breathe. The porches stretch long enough to hold different moods at different ends. It feels like a proper Charleston home that happens to accommodate a group without anyone stepping on each other's quiet. The hardwood floors, the cotton linens, the kitchen that actually invites cooking rather than just looking at — these are choices that suggest someone cared about how a stay feels, not just how it photographs. And then there's the pool, which is genuinely large enough to feel like an event, not an afterthought. What lingers is the sense that this place was designed for people who want to be together and apart in equal measure, steps from everything Charleston offers but with no real reason to leave.

This house was beautiful as described by the photos. It was easily walkable to King St. and had a lot of great amenities inside that made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend staying here!
