Would definitely stay here again. Great layout for our family. Clean, nicely decorated. Within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.
Stay Duvet
Rosemary Suite C arrives quietly. There is no grand lobby, no concierge desk, no choreographed welcome. Instead, there is a door, a key, and the immediate sense that someone has thought carefully about your comfort. This is a private residence designed for short stays that feel unhurried, where the furnishings are intentional rather than decorative and the layout favors ease over spectacle. The space is clean-lined and well-appointed, with a warmth that comes not from ornament but from proportion and light.
The suite is configured for both intimacy and independence. A well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook at your own pace, stocked with the essentials that make meal preparation feel effortless rather than improvised. The living area is generous enough to settle into for an evening without feeling cavernous, while the bedroom offers the kind of quiet that only comes from thoughtful spatial design. Linens are soft and considered. Surfaces are uncluttered. The bathroom carries its own sense of calm, with fixtures chosen for comfort rather than flash. Throughout, the details suggest a host who understands the difference between luxury and care.
Rosemary Suite C is the kind of place that rewards a slower rhythm. You wake without alarm, brew coffee in a kitchen that already feels familiar, and move through the day on your own terms. Whether you are visiting for a few nights or settling in for a longer stretch, the suite adapts to your tempo rather than imposing one. It is not trying to impress you with grandeur. It is simply trying to make your days feel a little more spacious, a little more your own.
What stays with you after a visit here is not any single feature but the accumulated feeling of a stay where nothing was missing and nothing was too much. The suite does not announce itself. It simply works, with the kind of quiet confidence that makes you want to return.

What strikes you first is that this isn't a hotel experience — it's a house that happens to hold five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, in a neighborhood that feels genuinely lived-in rather than staged. Cannonborough has a quieter pulse than the showier parts of Charleston, but you're still just blocks from King Street, which means the contrast between the serene interior and the city's culinary energy outside the door feels almost theatrical. The high ceilings and intricate moldings aren't decorative afterthoughts; they anchor the place in a specific architectural era while the rest of the design leans modern and warm. It's the kind of property that suits a group of friends or a family who want to cook together in a proper kitchen, linger over a long dinner, and still feel like they're staying somewhere with real character rather than a rental that could be anywhere.

The place was exactly as described, thorough instructions, and couldn't be a better location to explore Charleston.

We have stayed many places as we have traveled the world and this home did not disappoint. Full of the Charleston character, clean and could accommodate our large family. Loved the private space that each of us had but a great gathering area as well. Cheaper than hotel options and we were all together.

The house was updated beautifully and that fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom was great. The house felt luxurious and was perfect for a large group! It was also very convenient for walking. The apartment occupied the 3rd and 4th floors and is accessible only by steep stairs…absolutely fine for us, but might not be great for anyone where mobility is an issue. For those of you used to the personalization of Airbnb, this place is run more like a hotel, with generic messages, etc.

Really enjoyed our stay! Overall everything went well and the place was beautiful. It’s obviously been rented out a lot. There were some issues with things that were previously broken but Stay Duvet was very responsive.
I would stay here again but not with my children. While being on the top two floors means you get a nice view and no noise from above, it was hard to keep the kids off of the fire escape/ spiral stairs that went from the patio to the ground level. It was however very fun for adults and a convenient way to access the parking lot! So if you don’t have young kids this won’t be an issue at all!
We really liked it and I’m glad we stayed here while in Charleston!
