There are hotels that occupy a building, and then there are hotels that inhabit a mood. Boudoir des Muses belongs to the latter category, a small, theatrically spirited property where art, sensuality, and romance converge in intimate quarters. The name itself is a declaration of intent. This is not a place of neutral tones and minimalist restraint. It is a place of velvet, of ornament, of rooms that feel like they were designed for characters in a novel you haven't yet read. Each space carries its own personality, its own palette, its own atmosphere, composed with the kind of decorative boldness that rewards attention and invites lingering.
The rooms at Boudoir des Muses are individually designed, each one named and conceived as a distinct world. Rich fabrics, curated artwork, and layered textures define the interiors, creating spaces that feel both theatrical and genuinely comfortable. Beds are dressed with care, lighting is warm and considered, and the proportions feel deliberately intimate rather than compact. There is a sense that every object has been placed with intention, from the furniture to the artwork on the walls. The effect is immersive without being overwhelming, a careful choreography of color, material, and mood that gives each room a feeling of private discovery.
Beyond the rooms, the property maintains the same commitment to atmosphere in its shared spaces. Guests settle into a world that feels like a living salon, where the boundary between hospitality and artistic installation quietly dissolves. The experience is less about amenities ticked off a list and more about the cumulative effect of being surrounded by beauty that has been composed with genuine passion. Breakfast and communal moments carry the same spirit of generosity and aesthetic care that defines the rooms themselves.
Boudoir des Muses is a hotel for travelers who prefer character over convention. It asks nothing of you except to arrive with curiosity and to appreciate the pleasure of a space that has been imagined fully and without compromise. The feeling it leaves is not of luxury in the expected sense, but of having spent time inside someone's deeply personal, deeply considered vision of what a hotel can be when it chooses drama over discretion, and warmth over polish.

What we love about this stay
There's something about the way this place holds its identity — intricate moldings and velvet seating in a lobby lit with soft gold, rooms that feel like someone actually thought about how fabric falls against a Parisian backdrop. It doesn't try to be modern at the expense of its character, and it doesn't lean so hard into heritage that it forgets you're a living person who wants comfort. The neighborhood helps — the Picasso Museum is close, Place de la République is walkable, and the surrounding streets carry that particular energy where café espresso and fresh flowers blur together in the air. It's a property that seems to understand the difference between decorating a room and composing one, and that quiet confidence is what lingers after you leave.

Traveling to a new country is stressful as exciting, a lot to observe compare and learn. There is no better feeling than walking into your hotel and being greeted by a friendly face, there she was Stella who greeted us with a big smile and a friendly welcome as if we known each other for a long time. Right there and then we knew that we are in the right hotel in Paris. Room extremely clean thanks to la femme du chamber . At night we met yet another kind and friendly staff member Pernell she as kind and nice as Stella. Pernell recommended some restaurants and both tolerated my broken French. Not to forget Delphine, and Alex he reminded me of myself and my first job at a hotel. Hope I didn’t forget anyone and forgive my typo. Due to all of the above when in Paris will come back to this beautiful establishment . Thanks to the staff for everything. Dolly & Joe
