What we love about this stay
Request a garden-facing room on the upper floors—the square below is one of the few private gardens left in Marylebone, and mornings here feel almost rural, light filtering through old plane trees while London carries on obliviously. At the Potting Shed, skip the dinner rush and come for afternoon tea instead; the pastry work is genuinely excellent, and the room has a warmth in late-afternoon light that disappears by evening. If you're out exploring, walk to Regent's Park via the backstreets rather than Baker Street—quieter, prettier, and you'll stumble into the kind of independent shops that make this neighborhood worth knowing. End your night at the bar but arrive early, before it fills; a seat near the window with one of their more inventive cocktails is the right way to close a London day.

Stayed at the Dorset Square in August for my wife’s birthday and again in September for an event at Wembley, (couple of minutes from Marylebone station which is 9 minutes to Wembley Stadium). Staff are fantastic, very warm and welcoming. Rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained, as are all the other Firmdales we have stayed at. Lots of choice at breakfast and lunch - would recommend the cheeseburger.
