The road climbs steadily through Teton Village before the timber-and-stone facade of Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa comes into view, settled squarely at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This is a property built to echo the landscape that surrounds it: heavy Douglas fir beams, natural stone, and generous windows framing the kind of mountain panoramas that stop you mid-sentence. The scale is grand but grounded, a full-service lodge that feels earned by its setting rather than imposed upon it. Warmth radiates from oversized fireplaces in the lobby, and the atmosphere throughout carries the unhurried confidence of a place that has long understood why people come here.
Accommodations range from well-appointed guest rooms to studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites, many featuring full kitchens, living areas, and private balconies oriented toward the Teton Range or the village below. The layouts are designed for extended stays and families as much as weekend escapes, with residential proportions that let you settle in rather than simply check in. Finishes lean into the regional vernacular with warm wood tones, stone accents, and comfortable furnishings that reward a long day on the mountain.
The lodge's on-site restaurant, Spur Restaurant and Bar, serves as the social anchor of the property, offering a menu rooted in Western-inspired cuisine with seasonal ingredients. It is the kind of place where après-ski drinks transition naturally into dinner, the dining room warmed by firelight and mountain views. The Spa at Teton Mountain Lodge provides a full menu of treatments alongside a heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, positioned to take in the surrounding peaks. After a morning on the slopes or trails, the pool deck becomes a gathering place where cold air meets warm water and the mountains feel impossibly close. A fitness center and additional wellness amenities round out the offering for guests seeking recovery between adventures.
Location is the lodge's most defining asset. Direct access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort means skiing, snowboarding, and the aerial tram are steps away in winter, while summer opens the door to hiking, mountain biking, and the vast wilderness of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Teton Village itself provides a walkable cluster of shops and dining, but the property's position means you never feel far from the wild. Jackson, with its galleries, restaurants, and town square, sits a short drive down the highway.
Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa occupies the rare intersection of genuine mountain access and full-service hospitality. It is not a place that asks you to choose between adventure and comfort. The rhythm here moves between cold mountain air and warm interiors, between trail dust and spa steam, between the expansive silence of the Tetons and the quiet crackle of a lobby fire. What stays with you is not any single amenity but the feeling of being properly placed within a landscape that demands your attention.

What we love about this stay
There's a particular quality to a lodge that doesn't fight its landscape but leans into it — the wood, the earthy tones, the massive windows that treat the Tetons less like a backdrop and more like a defining presence in every room. You feel it in the lobby's soaring proportions, in the handcrafted details that suggest someone cared about texture, not just aesthetics. It's a property built for people who want to be active and then genuinely still — ski-in, ski-out access in the morning, steam rising from the heated outdoor pool against cold air in the afternoon. That contrast, exertion and quiet, is the whole point. The kind of place where a balcony at the end of the day feels earned, not decorative.

Gorgeous grounds. Great dining options. Close enough to Jackson hole airport and town. Room was nice, the shower was the best part. The pillows could have been better if I’m being picky but everything was awesome!

We enjoyed our stay at Teton Mountain Lodge. The convenience of being located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort helped make the most of our ski days! There is great shopping at the equipment shop at the base of the mountain as well. Working with Austin, our concierge, made it all so effortless. He was fantastic and full of information; he booked our lift tickets and a snowmobiling excursion with Back Country. The hotel is also a short drive into downtown Jackson where we spent our evenings dining and shopping at the local boutiques. We had our 7 yr. old granddaughter in tow so we also incorporated a horse drawn wagon tour of the Elk Refuge and a day at Snow King, riding the Cowboy Coaster, tubing and skiing...the Elk Refuge and Snow King were also a very short drive from the hotel. Also, dining/drinks in the bar at Spur, located on the ground floor of the hotel, was very casual, cozy and convenient. Don’t forget swimsuits for the pool/hot tub!

This is a really nice lodge/hotel, newly remodeled, with great amenities. Staying right in the Village makes for an easy walk out the back door right to the common area and more restaraunts. We would love to go back again. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub, surrounded by mountains was wonderful
