Luxury redefined on New York's Fifth Avenue

My new favorite NYC hotel. I greatly enjoyed my stay here- I was able to get an upgraded room which was quite spacious for NY. The decor is gorgeous and the service was professional and friendly. I loved the touches like free minibar snacks, treats, welcome gift that wasn’t booze which I really appreciated (I booked via chase visa which comes with perks) and free pressing of a few items of clothing. The cafe is stunning too- next time I’ll try the Portrait Bar. I’ll be back. Bravo Fifth Ave Hotel.

This hotel is just wonderful. Fancy hotels can get a little, "If you've you've stayed in one Relais & Chateaux you've stayed in them all", but this hotel manages to exude a completely unique charisma while providing a level of service and sophistication that could go to the mat with any top tier luxury hotel. The traditional but maximalist decor is perfection in cozy, comfortable, elegance. The service is absolutely flawless without being an ounce of pretentious. The dining experience is exquisite, from breakfast to dessert every dish is an unmitigated delight. What a wonderful experience from the first moment I stepped inside the lobby. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We stayed at this hotel and had the best experience! The concierge was top notch and always sharing the BEST recommendations. We had an AC issue but they helped us take care of this. Felt very “at home” here and the staff was so friendly. We are middle class family, but felt like royalty staying here!! It was less than a block away from the subway system which made for a great location. Highly recommend this hotel & will be staying here again in the near future!!! Plus: it was recently renovated and very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! While it was only for one night, the staff made us feel very cared-for and welcomed. The decor is absolutely impeccable. Eclectic vintage-modern with super cool pieces in the rooms and throughout the lobby. We loved the in-room treats and the turndown service. The butler brought up grapefruit juice with cinnamon (didn’t know I liked that combo but it’s quite nice!) as we checked in to our room, where we also found complimentary champagne for our anniversary. The beds were comfortable and the towels/linens were Bellino. Beautiful. We ordered room service for a late night snack, and it was pretty good. I very much appreciated their gluten free options and quick delivery. We would absolutely stay again! If I had one criticism, especially since this property prides itself on details, I would recommend a better quality line of toiletries. The current ones are made in China and incredibly drying on the skin, such that I didn’t want to use the hand soap. They are about the only things that don’t seem to match the standard of all the other aspects of the hotel. But if that’s my only criticism — it should tell you something about how exquisite this place is! Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Fifth Avenue Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Paula and the entire lobby team welcomed us with genuine hospitality. Special thanks to Don, Felix, Martin, and the rest of the hotel staff who went out of their way to surprise us with thoughtful touches—like a box of popcorn and snacks for a cozy movie night, plus wicked themed cupcakes when we mentioned our Broadway plans. We also appreciated Yassir and the house car team for making our traveling so convenient. Every detail of our stay felt carefully curated and personal, making this one of our most memorable trips ever. Highly recommended!
