The Source Hotel rises from Denver's River North Art District like something the neighborhood itself might have built. Its raw concrete and steel frame, exposed and unapologetic, mirrors the converted warehouses and mural-covered facades that define RiNo. But step inside and the industrial shell gives way to something warmer and more considered. The 100-room hotel was designed with the same creative restlessness that runs through the surrounding streets, where breweries, galleries, and studios have steadily transformed a former manufacturing corridor into one of Colorado's most compelling cultural districts.
Rooms are minimal and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame either the downtown skyline or the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The material palette stays honest throughout: polished concrete floors, custom furnishings, and a general sense that nothing was added without intention. On the rooftop, a heated pool and hot tub open to panoramic mountain views, offering a vantage point that makes the city feel both vast and intimate. The rooftop bar extends the experience with cocktails and a skyline that shifts dramatically from afternoon sun to alpine twilight.
At the hotel's base sits The Source, a curated market hall that functions as the property's social and culinary anchor. Rather than a single hotel restaurant, The Source Hotel gives you a collection of independent food and drink vendors ranging from craft beer and cocktails to fresh provisions and prepared meals. It is the kind of place where a morning coffee leads to an afternoon tasting, where dinner plans form spontaneously. New Belgium Brewing's taproom occupies a prominent ground-floor space, pouring a rotating selection alongside a food menu designed for lingering. The market hall predates the hotel and helped catalyze the neighborhood's transformation, so the relationship between the two feels organic rather than curated.
RiNo itself rewards exploration on foot. Street art murals cover nearly every available surface. Independent studios, design shops, and tasting rooms cluster within easy walking distance, and the neighborhood's energy is most palpable during warm-weather evenings when patios fill and the creative community spills outdoors. The Source Hotel sits at the center of this without trying to compete with it, offering a place to return to when the city has given you enough for the day. You settle into the rooftop with the mountains turning pink in the distance, and the feeling is one of proximity, to a neighborhood that is still becoming itself, and to the wide open landscape that has always defined Colorado.

What we love about this stay
What gets you here is the rare quality of a hotel that feels genuinely woven into its neighborhood rather than dropped onto it. The Source Hotel sits in that sweet spot where Denver's creative energy and urban grit meet something more considered — a design sensibility that's confident but never showy, rooms that feel curated without being precious. There's a quiet thrill in stepping across the street to Great Divide Brewing, then returning to an outdoor pool framed by that enormous Colorado sky, the city humming just beyond the edges. It's a place built for people who want the texture of a real neighborhood, not a sanitized version of one, and that honesty is what lingers.

Very cute hotel! Nicole K. is the night attendant and was able to quickly help change rooms in the middle of the night. She was extremely kind and helpful which was exactly what I needed in that moment. I am so grateful.

The staff was very kind and went above and beyond in extending us a half-night rate when we returned to the hotel, after checking out, due to a cancelled flight. They even got us back into the same room we'd been staying in. The rooftop restaurant offered wonderful food and drinks, and an even better view of the skyline backed by the Rocky Mountains. And the mattress was ~incredibly~ comfortable.
