Great house with a fun pool. We really enjoyed it.

You arrive to a single-story home on a quiet Sunnyvale street where the front yard gives little away. Step through the door, though, and the property reveals itself gradually: warm wood tones, vaulted ceilings, and an open layout that draws the eye toward the real centerpiece, a sprawling backyard designed less like a suburban lot and more like a private resort compound. Rustic Palms Oasis earns its name honestly. Mature palm trees frame an in-ground swimming pool, a hot tub sits nearby for evening soaks, and a dedicated fire pit area anchors the far end of the yard, ready for long conversations under the South Bay sky.
The home itself accommodates groups comfortably, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms spread across a generous floor plan. The kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooked meals, and a large dining area makes gathering around the table feel natural rather than crowded. The living spaces are finished with a rustic sensibility, mixing natural textures and earthy palettes that keep the interiors grounded and unpretentious. There is a sense of easy domesticity here, the kind of place where you settle in on the first afternoon and stop checking the clock. A washer and dryer, dedicated parking, and reliable WiFi round out the practical details that make longer stays feel effortless.
Sunnyvale sits in the heart of Silicon Valley, but the neighborhood surrounding the property carries a quieter residential character. You are well positioned to reach downtown Sunnyvale's restaurants and shops, the trails and open spaces of the nearby foothills, or the cultural offerings of San Jose and the broader Peninsula. The proximity to major tech campuses also makes the home a practical base for business travelers or families visiting the area for extended stretches, though the backyard alone may be reason enough to stay put.
What lingers about a stay here is the outdoor space. Morning coffee by the pool before anyone else wakes. Afternoons drifting between the hot tub and a lounge chair beneath the palms. Evenings around the fire pit as the sky cools to violet. Rustic Palms Oasis is not trying to be anything other than what it is: a generous, well-kept home with a backyard that quietly outperforms most vacation rentals in the region. For groups, families, or anyone who measures a trip by how much time they spend outside, it delivers without pretense.

What gets you here isn't the idea of a desert house — it's the particular quiet of Twentynine Palms, that high-desert stillness that makes everything feel slightly slowed down and more honest. This is a home that understands its landscape: large windows pull the rugged terrain inside, and the living spaces feel luminous rather than fussy. It's designed for gathering without pretense — the kind of place where the pool and hot tub sit under open sky, and evenings drift naturally toward the fire pit. Joshua Tree National Park is fifteen minutes away, which means real wilderness is close but never crowding the calm. The property suits people who want both adventure and decompression without choosing between them — and the desert sky at night here is reason enough to stay a little longer than planned.
