Loved our stay, clean, stylish, just like the photos.

The Fox Inn announces itself not with a lobby or a concierge, but with a view that stops you mid-step. This is a residence built for the kind of arrival that recalibrates your sense of scale, where the surrounding landscape opens up in every direction and the property itself feels like a natural extension of the terrain. The architecture is straightforward and honest, designed to frame the panorama rather than compete with it. Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the outdoors into every room, and the overall impression is of a home that was placed here with great care and clear intention.
Outdoors is where the Fox Inn truly comes alive. A hot tub sits positioned to take full advantage of the epic views, offering a place to settle in at golden hour or under a sky thick with stars. The cowboy tub adds a distinctly characterful alternative, a rustic soaking experience that feels rooted in the land and its traditions. A grill stands ready for evenings spent cooking outside, the kind of unhurried meals where the setting does most of the work. These aren't amenities layered on for effect. They are the rhythm of the stay itself, each one oriented around the landscape and the particular pleasure of being outside with no reason to rush.
Inside, the residence is designed for comfort and gathering. The living spaces are warm and inviting, with enough room for a group to spread out or come together easily. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals at home, and the layout encourages the kind of slow, informal togetherness that a place like this naturally fosters. Whether you are here with family or a close group of friends, the Fox Inn accommodates without formality, letting the day unfold on its own terms.
What stays with you after a visit to the Fox Inn is not any single feature but the overall feeling of expansiveness. The views are genuinely panoramic, the kind that shift in color and mood throughout the day. Mornings arrive quietly. Evenings build toward those long, luminous sunsets that make you pause whatever you are doing and simply watch. It is a residence that earns its name honestly, offering a place where the landscape is the main event and everything else is designed to keep you close to it.

Fox Inn understands something most desert stays don't — that the landscape isn't scenery, it's the whole point. The boulders aren't framed through windows for effect; they're the architecture's companion, and the property leans into that relationship with choices like an outdoor bed and shower that feel less like novelties and more like honest responses to the environment. There's a cowboy tub for cooler evenings and a hot tub set among the rocks, and both feel like they belong here rather than being imported from some resort playbook. The interiors are warm and considered without competing with what's outside. It's the kind of place where a propane firepit and a bag of Joshua Tree Coffee Co. beans constitute the entire evening and morning agenda, and that feels like exactly enough.

This place was absolutely stunning. The location is unbeatable, close to Joshua Tree and Pioneertown, and the house itself was pristine, modern, clean, and beautifully designed. My friends and I had such a great time here — it felt really special, and we’re already talking about coming back. Honestly, it’s even more beautiful than the photos. Probably the most impressive Airbnb I’ve stayed at!

This place actually looks better in person :). The host was very attentive even before we arrived to make sure we got there safely. I’ve stayed at other places in this area and the views are unmatched. We will definitely book again and refer friends on our next trip to Joshua Tree :).

Truly an exceptional stay in the Yucca Valley with spectacular location and proximity to Joshua Tree. Upon entry we felt right at home as the space itself is clearly thoughtfully designed, modern, and fully equipped for all homeware needs. The exterior boasts a variety of ways to soak up the landscape which did not disappoint - couldn’t recommend more for those seeking a tranquil and serene experience with nature.
As a group of women traveling together we also felt quite safe, exploring several neighboring towns and areas with a few highlights below:
⁃ the copper room for dining & music
⁃ mas o menos for coffee & great company
⁃ joshua tree coffee for a solid pick me up
⁃ pioneer town for local goods, petting zoos & views
