Very nice place

Some properties announce themselves through restraint. Φlympus announces itself through invitation. This is a vacation rental built around the idea that the best trips are the ones where everyone has something to do, where mornings drift between the pool and the kitchen, and afternoons turn competitive on the pickleball court before winding down in the spa. It is a residence designed not just for rest but for the particular kind of energy that emerges when a group of friends or a family has the right amount of space and the right kind of amenities to make every hour feel well spent.
The property centers on its outdoor offerings. A private pool anchors the backyard, flanked by lounge space that invites long stretches of sunlit idleness. The dedicated pickleball court sets Φlympus apart from the typical vacation rental, offering a ready-made activity that draws players of all levels into spirited rallies throughout the day. When the games are done and muscles remind you they exist, the on-site spa amenities provide a welcome counterpoint. The rhythm here moves naturally between exertion and ease, competition and recovery, without ever feeling scheduled or forced.
Indoors, the residence is configured for comfortable group living. Common areas are generous enough to host the full party without feeling cavernous, and the kitchen stands ready for shared meals prepared at your own pace. The layout encourages togetherness in the spaces that matter while preserving enough separation for quieter moments. This is a home that understands the dynamics of traveling with others, giving the group a center of gravity while leaving room for individual rhythms.
What stays with you after a stay at Φlympus is not any single feature but the way the property choreographs a particular kind of vacation. It is the sound of a pickleball bouncing off the court while someone else floats in the pool. It is the satisfaction of a long soak after a day spent in motion. The residence does not aspire to the stillness of a spa retreat or the formality of a luxury hotel. Instead, it offers something harder to find: a home that makes a group feel like they are exactly where they should be, doing exactly what they want.

What strikes you first is the architecture's refusal to compete with the landscape — expansive glass walls don't frame the desert so much as dissolve into it, letting the austere beauty of Joshua Tree move through the house like a quiet guest. The courtyard at the center feels deliberate, a shared pause between three bedrooms that invites both solitude and easy togetherness. This is a property that understands the desert isn't just scenery; it's the whole point. The pickleball court is an unexpectedly playful touch against all that stillness, and the pool reads less as amenity than as mirror — sky and rock reflected back at you. It suits a small group of people who want proximity without intrusion, who'd rather cook together in a serious kitchen than chase restaurant reservations. The night sky here isn't a bonus; it's the closing argument.

Truly a special place! The tone is set the first time you walk through massive floor to ceiling front door. Inside was extremely clean, comfortable and a well thought out design that accommodates a welcoming group hang. Indoor/outdoor living with a clean gas grill (with backup propane!)
The backyard area is perfect for a day/night hopping between pickleball and a swim. Fire pit setup feels private and was easy to turn on.
Spur of the moment trip with instant booking made this trip so easy. Thank you, we will be back!
