What we love about this stay
Request a high-floor room facing south — the skyline view at dusk, when the city shifts from gold to electric blue, is genuinely arresting from bed. Mornings belong in the trellis-covered garden before anyone else finds it; order coffee and sit with the quiet before the LES wakes up. At night, skip the obvious downtown bars and settle into the lobby bar early, around six, when the light through the Moroccan lamps is warmest and the bartenders have time to riff on something off-menu. Don't overdress — this neighborhood rewards people who look like they belong, not like they're trying. The deep soaking tub with those local bath products is a better nightcap than any cocktail. Done right, The Ludlow feels less like a hotel stay and more like borrowing a very stylish friend's apartment.

Amazing and Beautif Stay! The view of the city was one, of if not the best thing about our room. Second was the bath tub and it was a main deciding factor for the room. Our room had enough space for two and was well equipped with water, snacks, a Nespresso coffee machine and pods — even an umbrella for if it rained and we needed one. The pancakes at Dirty French were the best that I’ve had in my life.

We loved everything about the hotel. We thought it was a great location and easy to get to areas we wanted to explore such as Soho, Greenwich etc. Staff were brilliant and very attentive.
